Am I the only one who doesn't mind bandwidth caps?
Their bandwidth caps have very little to do with congestion control (as has been demonstrated here).
A few years ago we were constantly threatened with bandwidth caps, or limitations that would be placed on our service.
The new plan was set to begin in the summer of 2009, however due to protests they had decided against the bandwidth caps.
I also wouldn't be surprised if they started lowering the monthly bandwidth cap even more.
How does bandwidth caps work to help control the amount of information?
It all sounds great until the bandwidth caps get turned on.
And so if during any 30-day period of time you hit a certain bandwidth cap, then they'll say, okay, no more.
Those are for people who don't want to spend the bandwidth, or they've got bandwidth caps.
What I want to know is what can be done technological to increase bandwidth caps?
