It was Hengrid, and with him was an old-looking dwarf with a long white beard tucked into a simple rope belt.
It was a dwarf with a blue beard tucked into a golden belt, and very bright eyes under his dark-green hood.
He wore the beard tucked through his belt, and some instrument that looked like a sack full of light plugged into his neck.
"The old hats were made out of leather and they looked like this," McGee says, pointing to a 1910 photo on the wall showing a Boston fireman with a New Yorker on his head, his long white beard tucked into the collar of his coat.
