It was formerly an island until a land bridge was constructed on the southern end; this now carries U.S. Route 17, or Roosevelt Boulevard.
It carries Interstate 93, U.S. Route 1 and Massachusetts Route 3.
It carries U.S. Route 1 and U.S. Route 378 across the Congaree River.
To the west is a triangular parking lot and the viaduct carrying Interstate 84 and U.S. Route 6, which curves around the north of the station as well.
It carries traffic for Interstate 255 (part of the St. Louis beltway) and U.S. Route 50.
The highway turns northeast into Alorton and passes under an overpass carrying Interstate 255 and U.S. Route 50, which do not meet Illinois 116.
It is 1,270 feet long and carries U.S. Route 501 over the Waccamaw River.
At one time, it carried U.S. Route 40 and U.S. Route 66 across the river.
The best known of these us the Philippi Covered Bridge, which survives into modern times after several rebuilding projects, and continues to carry U.S. Route 250.
The Veterans Memorial Bridge carries U.S. Route 6 and Route 138 across the river.
