"People in central Brooklyn are not shy about expressing their opinions," he said.

That race in central Brooklyn has attracted much attention because three candidates are black and one is white.

"I am still a productive civic participant on the issues of the day here in central Brooklyn," he said.

But a visit to central Brooklyn will confirm that is not the case.
