The church site was established in 1605 and referred to before 1767.
Up until 1984, the College operated entirely at the church site.
A number of other possible temple and/or church sites have also been identified.
But some church sites have become a lot more sophisticated.
It was constructed in 1886 on the current church site.
However, the cemetery is some half a mile west, at the old church site.
It does not have its own graveyard on the church site.
If all of the evidence for early church sites is put together, we can see that these were widespread before 1066.
The church site has been occupied for about 1000 years.
It was built a little south of the old church site.
