About 2,000 members of the fundamentalist group have been seized since clashes between the fundamentalists and security forces began on June 5.
Skirmishes and the clashes between the two sides during 2009 began in June.
But on Friday, serious clashes began early in the morning.
More than 40 people are reported to have died and scores have been wounded since the clashes began in February.
The clash began when some militants tried to occupy a nearby government building.
The clashes began last week after a prison break near the port of Benghazi.
The police said 10 people had been killed and 25 seriously wounded since the clashes began Wednesday.
Since the clashes began Tuesday, 21 people have been killed and 60 wounded.
Kurds put the toll of dead and wounded at more than 400 since clashes began on Saturday.
"This is the fourth time that we have moved since the clashes began in January," a 65-year-old woman said.
