I appreciate that many of you are commenting to disagree with the new (quite different) approach to the homepage, but James has explained the basis of his approach here throughout, and it would be good to keep this civil.
Robertson wrote that Gaddafi appeared shocked after the meeting, and commented on al-Obeidi's strong character and willingness to disagree with him.
