The topping was crispy potatoes, though mash would have been fine too.

It is small but sprightly, dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette and topped with a handful of crispy potatoes.

It is better than the large a la carte salad with blue cheese, crispy potatoes and a strangely sweet red wine vinaigrette.

The regulars seemed relieved by the occasional lobster salad ($28), the black sea bass in crispy potatoes ($32).

Those crispy potatoes can also be ordered a la carte.

The sandwiches outperform their bargain price of about $6, which includes crispy potatoes.

Such was the case with a $32 wild sea bass, roasted with rosemary, served whole and filleted tableside, accompanied by crispy potatoes.

When one diner raved about the crispy pan-fried potatoes, he was instantly furnished with an extra plateful.

With this dish I like to serve crispy pan-roasted potatoes with baby artichokes and carrots.
