She then achieved the biggest win of her career by defeating top seed and World No. 7 Jelena Jankovic in the second round.

In the first round she defeated defending champion and 4th seed, Jie Zheng, 7-5, 6-1.

In the second round, she defeated 20th seed Alona Bondarenko 6-1, 6-4.

In the quarterfinals she came back from a 1-5 first set deficit to defeat 12th seed Yanina Wickmayer 7-5, 3-6, 6-1.

She followed it up with the biggest win of her career by defeating top seed and former world number one Maria Sharapova.

There, she defeated fifth seed and former champion Lindsay Davenport.

In the first round she caused a big upset by defeating 4th seed and World No.33 Tsvetana Pironkova 6-4, 6-1.

Seeded three, she defeated top seed Amanda Wainwright 7-6, 7-6.

He defeated 11th seed and world number 18 Carl-Uwe Steeb in the second round.
