"He would suggest cutting scenes if it moved things along," the director recalled.

"I simply thought they were working very, very well together," the director recalled.

A fellow director recalls that meeting him felt as if "someone had switched on the electricity."

The director recalled, "I only remember that the end of the film was totally different.

"It was one of those scenes that sort of happens before your eyes," the director recalled.

"I felt there had to be a voice-over in this film," the director recalled.

"On that day," the director recalled, "she was like our anchor."

"He said it was a direct call for the Romanian alternative," the director recalled.

"Some of the material is very outrageous," the 47-year-old director recalled with a laugh.

"When I came back from a trip abroad and entered that atmosphere, it was a world apart," the director once recalled.
