The police said there had been 86 drug-related arrests in that building in the last three years.
That is a reference to the 46,000 drug-related arrests made by the force over the past two and a half years.
Statistically, according to department figures, the force made 21 drug-related arrests last year for each 1,000 residents of the city.
At the 2008 festival in Sydney, police made 86 drug-related arrests.
Since 1986, the number of drug-related arrests has jumped from 1,200 a year to more than 3,400.
But now the total number of drug-related arrests annually is only about 25,000.
But he has been under rising pressure to increase it still further as drug-related arrests have soared in recent months.
"We've made more than 120 drug-related arrests through this unit," he said.
Since October 1988, the police have made about 50 drug-related arrests at that location.
