After coming off a great spring training, he was placed on the 15 day disabled list on May 11, with minor left elbow inflammation.

"I felt pretty good," said Mussina, who has elbow inflammation.

It will be Mussina's first start since elbow inflammation shut him down Aug. 29.

However, more injury trouble found Wada in the form of left elbow inflammation.

His knee seemed to hold up, but he developed elbow inflammation, maybe from the frequency of his exhibition-game hits.
