But you might install an SSD and move the existing hard drive into an inexpensive external enclosure.

And so one of the problems I think we're seeing, I mean, these external enclosures are very popular.

The 2.5" external enclosure makes it easy to swap out and reuse your old drive.

Carefully disconnect the SSD from the external enclosure.

Since we plan to repurpose the HDD as an external drive, we installed it in the external enclosure.

Once removed, install your old HDD into the external enclosure.
