A new business or one moving into the area must sign a minimum five-year lease by Dec. 31.

The work would be done by a private group under a five-year lease.

Mr. Park has a five-year lease on the new space.

"Not long ago you had tenants demanding the first year free to sign a five-year lease," he said.

Even though the changes are not yet complete, two five-year leases have been signed.

As well, many of the equipment schedules were for five-year leases rather than three.

A five-year lease for the first floor has just been signed, with a monthly rent of $3,500.

Volunteers raised $10,000 to finance the move and sign a five-year lease.
