During the orientation the incoming freshman learn about the school, its services, rules and regulations, the A/B Block 8 schedule, and the extracurricular activities.

During the past two years, Lee has devoted his summer to helping incoming freshmen learn basic chemistry to prepare them for the academic year.

Each year GBHS hosts 'Club Rush' - an event located in the school's media center that allows incoming freshman and sophomore students to learn more about the current clubs available.
