Off the field, Cup in hand, perhaps the end justified the means?
I do believe that the end can justify the means.
Perhaps the end justified the means - for the British.
Justice must be served, and the end did not justify the means.
The issue is whether or not the end justifies the means.
I do not see that the end justifies the means.
And I can't even say that the ends justified the means.
One is that the ends do not justify the means.
We do not believe, however, that the end justifies the means.
History will record that sometimes the end justifies the means.
