And after she raced to four impressive victories, she clearly became the leading juvenile filly of the year.

The winner ran the mile in 1:36, paid $5.10 and earned $90,000 and leadership of the juvenile fillies' class.

It is France's only Group 1 event exclusively for juvenile fillies.

She ran second to Eliza in the voting for the Eclipse Award for juvenile fillies.

Zito also ran second and third in the Frizette for juvenile fillies.

The Spinaway, the third and final career builder for juvenile fillies, will be run at Saratoga on Aug. 29.

She was regarded as one of the best juvenile fillies to race in Britain in 1944.
