"I suppose some lawyers feel a judge shouldn't sit on the bench after age 76," he said.

Maybe, too, the lawyer that I have never met will also feel that it is bad.

So, his lawyers may feel compelled to let it all hang out at this conference.

After two months of almost daily meetings with his old friend, the lawyer felt rather lonely.

"It certainly indicates that lawyers are feeling some real vulnerability," he said.
