Lower into a lunge position, keeping your left knee directly above your left foot.
Step forward with your right leg, and lower into lunge position (don't let front knee go past toes).
Mobilise your joints by stepping forward in a lunge position.
After the fifth slow lunge, hold the lunge position for five seconds (red light).
Sink into a lunge position with left leg forward, right leg back, and both knees bent to 90 degrees.
Switch legs in the air and land softly, returning to the lunge position.
Inhale while stepping your right foot forward into lunge position.
Lower your right leg into lunge position and curl your hands to your shoulders.
Inhale as you step your right foot back into lunge position.
Because the heel is free, it allows the skier to go into a lunge position in order to turn.
