But the law was clear, and had been made for a reason.
None the less, new law could be and was made.
Making new laws is a very good thing to do.
I believe we should make laws for the general public.
Then they made laws to say who can have water and when.
But the ones who said yes or no on water soon made other laws which were not good.
Do we make law because of a few extremely difficult cases?
As the old saying has it 'hard cases make bad law'.
And there are too few to make laws for themselves.
I see this as being, perhaps, a good example of how we can work together on making laws in the future.
