The officer added: 'We're very pleased he has been caught.

"When the threat is gone, I will leave," the officer added.

"All we can do is put them out when they set themselves on fire," one officer added.

"He must have thought a lot about that in later months," the officer added without sympathy.

He is to be arraigned while in the hospital, the officer added.
