It started on 14 April 2012 with participation of eight teams.

The Girabola 2012 season ran from July 6 through November 4 2012, with the participation of 16 teams.

The tournament took place entirely on earth Switzerland with the participation of three Italian and three Swiss teams.

Bitwise 2003 had a participation of over 900 teams, which rose to over 5000 teams (3500 playing on the event day) from 80 different countries in 2011.

It started on 10 April 2013 with participation of eight teams.

Its first event was held on 18 November 1997 with the participation of 18 teams from 11 institutions.

This round saw the participation of 42 teams from across the country.

The event was a two day affair, which saw the participation of twenty four teams from across the different faculties and departments of Jadavpur University.

The second international contest was held in February 2008 in Kish Island with the participation of 21 teams from 17 countries.

The regular group consisted of 11 teams, while "Cities of the East" involved participation of only seven teams.
