Over all, 10 percent of black men under 40 are behind bars on any given day.

But only 6 percent of women and men said the woman's job suffered the most.

"And once they've had one, about 50 percent of men will have another attack within seven years."

And 3 percent of men, but no women, said they made love less than once a month.

Only 28 percent of men left before serving three years.

For the 25-34 age group, only 8 percent of black men marry outside their race.

The report said 86 percent of men and women in their late 20's had completed high school.

By 1985, just 30 percent of 65-year-old men were in the labor force.

They figure the school has been going along with this percent of men and that seems to be working.
