In December 2008 the Choir performed Verdi's Requiem.

They will perform Verdi's Requiem, the work Mr. Page conducted at the festival's opening in 1982.

In 2001, she returned to the Grant Park Music Festival to celebrate the centennial of Verdi's death by performing his Requiem.

Also in April 2002, she performed Antonín Dvořák's Requiem with the Tonkunstler Orchestra of Vienna.

She also performed Brahms' Requiem in her debut with the Northern Israel Symphony.

On occasion it has expanded its forces to perform Brahms' Requiem and Elgar's Dream of Gerontius.

When the Syracuse Symphony and almost 200 student singers performed Mozart's "Requiem," an elderly woman dabbed under her glasses with a handkerchief.

Then in 1990-91, the 125th season, the following works were performed: Verdi's Requiem, Handel's Messiah and Elgar's Dream of Gerontius.
