What is the hope for "political liberalization" with the leadership in China?

However, the past decade has been one of political liberalization across the continent.

The term spring is often used to name periods of political liberalization.

They were the fourth contest held after the political liberalization started in 1989 and the first elections to take place since 1997.

Yet the administration's initiatives to encourage political liberalization is not new.

But there has been no corresponding movement toward political liberalization.

But they do not see political liberalization as linked to economic development.

These sentiments hardly point to further political and economic liberalization.

First, there can be no progress without significant political and economic liberalization.
