Do you have any thoughts on how environmental regulations are working in practice - What works well and what does not?

Capitalism needs regulation for it to work and benefit all.

But the regulations work only because everyone takes them seriously.

Other times, regulations didn't work or became inefficient as years passed.

So in the long run, regulation is working against it's supposed and intended purpose.

If the regulations work, officials say, they will be expanded to rivers like the Missouri.

It's difficult to envisage how economic regulation would work in practice.
