The prisoner, meanwhile, seeing Cookie through the motorcar window, commandeers the driver's seat whilst Buddy is distracted; Cookie screams, Buddy expresses his indignation, but the villain knocks Our Hero backwards, leaving his sweetheart to yell for help.

To see Cookie, standing so alone and sad in her stall, was worth the trip.

The alarm clock sees the real Buddy & Cookie walking towards the house & rings to signal that every object ought to return to its place, including the picture of Buddy.

He never saw Cookie.
