The stores generated revenues of $635 million in the latest fiscal year, the company said.
Mayor Logan estimates that the stores will generate $2.5 million in tax revenue and create more than 800 jobs.
It was estimated that each store would generate an about 11,000kwh per year.
Wal-Mart officials say a new store would create about 300 jobs and generate about $5 million in tax revenue for the city.
He said the center's retail stores were generating more than $1,000 in sales per square foot annually.
The stores generate the most business because "people like to go there, because they can get advice," he said.
The company's 223 stores generate about $7 billion in sales a year.
The stores, scheduled to be completed by next year, will generate 500 to 1,000 jobs.
