There has been so much saccharine stuff said about this city in recent months.

"The good stuff, Tommy," a voice said from behind her.

"Out of my way, hot stuff," I said, trying to squeeze past him.

She lives in my house, says nice stuff and cooks for me.

That and all the other stuff she says that's like that.

"Good stuff," said Benjamin, and found a particular notebook among the many on his desk to record the fact.

"This stuff usually cracks up from the bottom," he said.

That stuff she'd said about the boy, about it being better for us if he was dead.

"My stuff," she said, unable to come up with anything more eloquent at this time of the morning.
