In 1800 he was transferred along with the university to Landshut where he taught pastoral and moral theology, pedagogics, homiletics, liturgy and catechetics.

He also taught liturgics and homiletics, and served on the Province VII Christian Education Commission (1995-1998).

Abrahams taught secular subjects as well as homiletics at Jews' College, and was appointed senior tutor of that institution in 1900.

He returned to The General Seminary in 1987 as Director of the Chapel and Teaching Fellow, and joined the Faculty in 1989 to teach homiletics and liturgics.
