In 1863 he was transferred to the 87th Regiment of Foot.

On 30 January 1791 he became a captain and was transferred to the 58th Regiment of Foot.

He transferred to the 7th Regiment of Foot in 1739.

In 1805 he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, and transferred to the 46th Regiment.

In 1764 he transferred to the 93rd Regiment of Foot.

He immediately transferred to the 76th Regiment of Foot in India.

In November 1816, Fraser was transferred to the 46th Regiment.

Later that year he transferred to the 3rd Regiment of Foot.

He later transferred to the 73rd Regiment of Foot after the 98th's disbandment in 1787.

In 1717 he transferred to the 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards.
