The unit was re-designated the 109th Observation Squadron on 25 January 1923.

In June 1944, the unit was reorganized and re-designated as the 931st Signal Battalion.

For reasons of security, the unit was organised into four battalions and were re-designated as such.

The unit was re-designated as the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment on 1 July 1980.

The unit was later re-designated as the 36th Arkansas Infantry Regiment.

Following the war the unit was later reactivated and re-designated the 964th Engineering Construction Battalion.

In 1923, the unit was re-designated the 94th Pursuit Squadron.

Consequently, the unit was re-designated the 508th Fighter Group.

This unit was later re-designated the 73rd Regiment of Foot and disbanded in 1763.

During 1948, the unit was re-designated as Sindh Police Rangers.
