The power plant was to have two units of 800 MW each.

Two new units of 490 MW each have come up at the same plant in the year 2010.

In place of which, one 500 MW unit is under construction.

According to the contract, a first unit of 300 MW will cost €540 million.

There are two power houses with one unit of 65 MW each.

The first 3 are 100 MW units and were placed into service in 1965, 1968, 1976.

The last unit of 200 MW was commissioned in 1982.

The last unit of 500 MW was commissioned in 1994.

Five units of 210 MW each were commissioned in 1999, 2001, 2008 and 2010.

Two units of 40 MW have been installed for power generation.
