This last translation was also used in the vocal score of The Magic Flute published in Birchall, London in around 1813.

Imogen Holst summarised the folk tunes which her father used in the score as follows:

Bar sheets show the relationship between the on-screen action, the dialogue, and the actual musical notation used in the score.

In 1937, Louis Gruenberg (1884-1964) composed a radio opera Green Mansions, which used a musical saw in the score.

It includes only occasional notations about the instruments used in the original full orchestral score, which has not survived.

The instruments are arranged in a circle around the performer, in the order they are used in the score.

The lengthy cue builds the ideas of "Singapore" even further, however some of these ideas too were not used in the score for the final film.
