The biggest vehicles get somewhere between 12 and 15 miles to a gallon of gas.
He saw three cars, not four, and wondered where the other vehicle had gotten to.
He calculated that such a vehicle would get well over 100 miles to the gallon.
"And who got the nice, pretty, smart vehicle for us?"
The last two vehicles got us flapping because they came to within 600 feet of our position.
But not on the same day so that the vehicles don't get in each other's way.
"No suspect vehicles can get beyond that point," he said.
In addition, commercial vehicles get more use over a lifetime.
His next point was to see how that vehicle got in, and if it had left any traces.
"The vehicles we've used haven't gotten the message out clearly, so we're going to the people."
