Becoming what you buy, the designer explains, is "the American dream."
"This was a particularly large investment," the designer explains.
"The idea was inspired by the Regency practice of using columns to separate rooms," explains the designer.
In an article on page 13, the magazine's designers explain the background to the changes.
"I wanted something unusual - a bit daring, but not ridiculous," the designer explained.
But because the space is limited, the designer also explained it was an excellent opportunity to use exquisite materials.
"It's about being friends with the things that surround you," the designer explained.
"These things are so fabulous they stand up by themselves," the designer explained, referring to the exhibition's works.
But what if people could hear the designers themselves explaining the spaces?
"Those were the colors that won," the designer explained.
